Today I’m thankful for modern conveniences … but more specifically: printers. Filling out our Acceptance Paperwork is super stressful for me. I make the STUPIDEST mistakes (like not being able to write my address correctly … no joke) and I find myself going back to my computer to print up another copy of whatever form it is I’m trying to fill out … again.
I think back to when my Parents adopted me. And I know I saw some paperwork that was typed out … with like a real typewriter. And I can’t imagine how not only time consuming that must have been, but frustrating as well!
Thankfully, I got everything done, filled out, stapled and ready to go. And by this time tomorrow, our Acceptance should be well on it’s way to our Agency.
Love the convenience of printers, but hate when it says, “Low Ink, replace cartridge”! My mom had a typewriter for years. I remember as a little girl playing on it and pretending I was “typing” a letter. Thought I was so big! lol Great memory!
