I’m Thankful: Day 29

So yeah … I’m fine. Totally over-reacted and the pain has left  my hands so I’m completely fine. So I guess I’ll just be thankful for that.

I’m also pretty thankful that November is almost over and I can be done with this whole thing. (but I said that with a grateful spirit. for reals)

Glad everything is ok.
Remind me next year not to take on the thankfulness challenge. :)

I’m Thankful: Day 28

This is going to be short. I’m having some issues with pain in my hands and I’m not sure what’s going on. I’m hoping to get in with my doctor tomorrow, but considering its the first Monday after a Holiday weekend (and his practice is very small) I’m guessing that it might not happen … but I REALLY need to figure out what’s going on asap.

So here’s to hoping I get in tomorrow!

I’m Thankful: Day 26

Seriously. I’m just thankful that we survived last night. I was pretty much awake the entire night because I felt like I couldn’t breathe. And around 2:45a, Charlie woke up screaming. I went to check on him, and discovered that he had not only gotten completely out of his pj’s and his diaper (which was clean and dry) but he was now sitting in the largest, most disgusting pile/puddle of diarrhea that I had ever seen. Of course I totally freaked out and yelled for Bob, who then in turn, started filling the bath tub. I tried to salvage what items I thought could still be put in the washer, but everything else went into a trash bag. Seriously, it was pretty awful.

Once we got him back into bed, he woke up another 3 times before finally sleeping for good. Me? Well … I think I finally fell asleep around 6am. So when morning came, I was running pretty rough.

But we survived. So hopefully tonight will be completely uneventful.

Holy crap! (Pun slightly intended;)) I can NOT believe that happened to you and, can I just say, I’m so glad I’m not the only one? LOL! On Tuesday, right before I had to leave to meet up with some friends, I went into Jaemin’s room to get him up from his nap and he had stripped off his pants and diaper (which was full, of course) and had chucked it across the room. But not before finger painting the wall, his crib, his hair…EWWW!!! Seriously, it was SO gross! The exact same thing happened with my oldest when he was around this age, too. What is it with boys and poop?!:)

I’m Thankful: Day 25

I’m thankful for people who are flexible when plans need to be changed at the last minute. Like take Bob for instance. This morning I woke up sicker than I can remember ever being in a long time. Since I was pretty much down for the count and Claire was still  not feeling well from last night (she got really sick the night before), we had to cancel our Thanksgiving plans. We ended up just staying home. Bob never complained, never grumbled, and even ran to the store to get me soup. He’s pretty amazing like that.

So thanks, dear husband, for going with the flow this morning. Once I start feeling better, we’ll recreate a Thanksgiving feast of our own. I promise!
