So today I’m thankful for Doctors. I had to take Charlie to get his hearing tested because he had fluid in his ears at his ‘2 year’ check up. Anyway, there’s something going on there and we need to get follow up done tomorrow with our Pediatrician. It might be that the hearing issues are delaying his speech, or it might not and he’s just delayed in his speech.
Either way, we’re looking into it, and I’m thankful that modern medicine makes it as simple as me taking him into the doctors office … and they can tell me where his hearing is ranking, and what their concerns are. So today, I’m really am thankful for that.
